Julius Fučík (July 18, 1872 – September 25, 1916) was a Czech composer and conductor of military bands. During his lifetime, he wrote over four hundred marches, polkas, and waltzes. His two most famous compositions are Entrance of the Gladiators and The Florentiner March.
