Muzio Clementi (January 24, 1752 – March 10, 1832) was an Italian-born British composer, pianist, teacher, publisher, and piano manufacturer. He was particularly known for his piano sonatas. Clementi influenced many nineteenth-century composers, including Beethoven and Carl Czerny.
